The McLaren P1 designer has created a Grand Theft Auto V car

Frank Stephenson has mashed up loads of his old designs into one car

Published: 05 Oct 2021

Over on his fantastically honest YouTube channel, legendary car designer Frank Stephenson has recently been reviewing a whole bunch of videogame Grand Theft Auto V’s mish-mash car designs. It’d be fair to say he isn’t a fan of most of them.

Anyway, in his latest video, Stephenson has decided to have a go at his own design for the wildly popular game, describing the GTA design philosophy as “take two cars, mash them together and pray like hell that you don’t get sued”. Told you he was honest.

In the end, Stephenson decides to combine a bunch of his most famous cars into one design. Check out the results above – rather wild isn’t it? He’s also brilliantly titled it the FRNKNSTN, and proceeds to then critique his own design.

Reckon you can pick out the six cars from his past - including stints at Ferrari, Maserati and McLaren - that Stephenson uses to draw inspiration from? Have a guess and then watch the video by clicking these blue words…
