The Edox CO-1 Chronograph Automatic is a diving watch that was originally designed for powerboat racing
Waterproof to depths of 500m, this is a 45mm watch for hardcore divers
Back in 2006, the original Edox CO-1 watch was designed for offshore powerboat racing. That immediately makes it cool in our eyes, and now there’s a new addition to the collection – the CO-1 Chronograph Automatic.
Aimed at those who want to dive into the depths of the ocean rather than race across it, the Automatic is waterproof to depths of 500m and features a bezel lock system for precise timing of your underwater adventures.
There’s a scratch-resistant diving bezel and sapphire crystal too plus a Swiss automatic movement, with everything housed in a 45mm stainless steel case with a transparent back.
Edox, well-known for its divers’ watches, has also fitted a helium valve to release pressure, while Super-LumiNova lights up the details in the depths of the ocean. *Shudder*. Each CO-1 Chronograph Automatic will cost €2,825 before tax.
