The ‘Curated by Cadillac’ CT5-V Blackwing is a $158k bespoke super saloon
Sorry, super-*sedan*. V8-powered Caddy will get new exclusive options
Deep breath. This is the Curated by Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. It is a version of Caddy’s rather brilliant V8-powered super saloon – sorry, super sedan – that’ll be built in limited numbers from 2026.
And as that name rather suggests, it’s a bespoke performance car allowing its lucky new owner room for much customisation – sorry, customization – via options specially chosen by Cadillac.
For example, there’s more than 160 colours on offer, including high-gloss and ‘frost’ finishes, with each one hand-painted by Caddy. The interior colours and materials also benefit from an expanded selection, allowing “millions of different combinations”.
The entire experience will be just like if you’re ordering a Cadillac Celestiq, so each owner will be afforded their own ‘concierge’ who’ll guide them through their luxury V8 performance car spec.
None of this will include upping the spec on the Caddy’s dark heart, though none is needed: each Curated by Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will mirror the ‘regular’ Blackwing spec. So that’s a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 sending 668bhp and 659lb ft to the rear wheels via your choice of a six-speed manual or 10-speed auto.
Now for the final deep breath. Each of these cars will be hand-built in Michigan, with prices starting at $158,000… which is a fair chunk over the regular CT5-V Blackwing, which starts at $97,600.
