The new Dacia Duster is VERY CHEAP
A TG hero starts at less than £10k
Good news affordable SUV fans. The new Dacia Duster goes on sale in Britain this month, starting at an exceedingly reasonable £9,995. And for that you get…some things. Things like height-adjustable front seats, LED daytime running lights, 16in steel wheels and front windows that move up and down using electricity.
Upgrade to ‘Essential’ trim, which starts at £11,595, and you get manual air conditioning, a DAB radio, Bluetooth and bumpers PAINTED IN THE SAME COLOUR AS THE REST OF THE CAR. You need these. ‘Comfort’ adds alloy wheels, sat-nav and so-on, while top-of-the-range ‘Prestige’ gives blind-spot warning tech, keyless entry and climate control.
Two engines are available – petrol or diesel, both with 113bhp. Both come with manual gearboxes, but the former is the only one available with all-wheel drive. The cheapest all-wheel drive Duster is £13,595 – which is very cheap indeed. We’re promised it’s “just as capable as the previous model” off road, and that the interior is much higher-quality this time around.
Do you need a new Dacia Duster in your life?
