Watch Jon Olsson drive a Lambo up a glacier

Pro skier and car nut Jon Olsson drives his Murcielago up a Norwegian glacier. Obviously

Published: 17 May 2016

Jon Olsson is our kind of guy. He’s the pro-skier with a penchant for Lamborghinis with roof boxes, and 1000bhp DTM-inspired Audi RS6s. And now he’s taken his custom RWD Murcielago LP640, and driven it up a Norwegian glacier. Just because he can.

Equipped with a set of serious-looking 16mm studded tyres, Olsson points his Murcielago at the slope and lets rip, treating us to a sustained blast of V12. Slithering ensues, particularly when he sets up (and expertly navigates) a slalom course. On his website, Olsson said: “I had so much grip I could just drive around anywhere I wanted and take as many runs as the gas tank allowed me to do!”

The car is an LP640 with a RWD conversion, a full carbon-fibre body kit and an IPE exhaust, plus much besides. His current project is based on a Huracan. We can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve.
