Irmscher is already offering bodykits for the new Vauxhall Astra

Disappointed that Vauxhall seems to have all but killed off its once-bonkers VXR performance division? Want your smart-looking eighth-gen Astra to have a bit more ‘presence’?

Fear not, because German Opel specialist Irmscher has unveiled its new look. What do we think, Internet?

There’s a full bodykit with a new front bumper and a (not entirely necessary) rear diffuser, as well as a nice little roof spoiler and some low side skirts. Irmscher’s decal kit is rather nice no? We’re not so sold on those 18- or 19-inch wheels and what looks like a suspension drop, though. 

There are no performance upgrades just yet – a shame given the Irmscher’s engineering experience – but it will retrim your interior in brown leather. Mmmm, chocolatey.
