Check out all of Techart’s tuning bits for the Porsche 911 GT3

Can't wait for the inevitable GT3 RS? Jump the queue with these lightweight carbon extras

Published: 10 Aug 2022

The 992-generation Porsche 911 GT3 doesn’t exactly need improving. "So addictive," we said, "you want to get straight back into it about 45 seconds after stepping out of it.”

And yet, German tuner Techart has just announced what it describes as a ‘carbon fibre aerokit and clubsport upgrades’ for the already track-prepped 911. Can’t wait for the inevitable GT3 RS? This might just be your best option right now.

The carbon kit includes a front lip, sills and a diffuser down low, whilst higher up there’s a carbon fibre moustache, bonnet, front wings and louvres. Plenty of woven bits, then.

The monstrous swan-neck rear-wing gets some new additions too, chief among which are the considerably bigger endplates. Nice glass Techart lettering across the rear lightbar too.

The German firm is also offering lightweight forged wheels that are 20-inches up front and 21- at the rear, plus there’ll be a stainless steel sports exhaust system too. No word on how much weight is saved in total, though.

The interior can be specced with FIA homologated six-point harnesses to make toll booths your worst enemy, and Techart says it’ll retrim bits in Alcantara, leather or ‘motorsport-inspired heritage fabrics’. Yes please to the latter.

Order books are open now and deliveries start in October this year.
