Surprise! This is the new Lamborghini Manifesto concept
Thought Lambo had started to become a bit too serious?
Lamborghini has rediscovered its Lamborghini-ness via a wild new concept it is calling ‘Manifesto’. Yes, there’s some serious intent behind it – lots of talk about ‘guiding the brand ahead’ and so on – but mostly, woah.
That's it up above sitting very angrily alongside the Countach and Fenomeno. Long. Low. Wide. A “sculpture on four wheels”, according to the Sant’Agata carmaker. It’s been built to celebrate 20 years of Lamborghini’s in-house Centro Stile design HQ – itself formed to remove reliance on ‘external studios’ for its visual language.
And within this studio lurks a so-called ‘crazy corner’: “a small group tasked with imagining Lamborghini 20 years from now”. You’re sorta looking at it.
Lamborghini notes the impact the wild Terzo Millennio had back in 2017, and how that car inspired elements on the Revuelto and Temerario. So too this Manifesto will inform what forms future Lambos will take.
“More than visual recognition, it seeks to create lasting impact,” said Lambo. Job done, we’d proffer.
Lambo points to its “Y-shaped” lights and “hexagonal patterns”, that “reaffirm the marque’s DNA while introducing innovations that will influence tomorrow’s cars”. Lambo specifically said this car is “not about an engine or technology”, which isn’t an ‘innovation’ we’re entirely comfortable with. But still. Woah.
