Configure your perfect Aston Martin DBS Superleggera
First: drool over Aston's new supercar. Second: ruin it
What’s better than a new 715bhp V12 Aston Martin? Yup, choosing how you’d have yours. Well, that time is once again upon us.
By now you’re hopefully aware Aston Martin has created something called the DBS Superleggera. A long way from a DB11 doing a yawn it is too: this is a carbon fibre-bodied, 21-inch tyred Ferrari 812 Superfast rival.
Pretty, isn’t it? It’s a proper Aston, to our eyes – muscular yet elegant, with gorgeous haunches and just enough nods to 211mph-capable aero without looking fussy. What a looker.
Anyway, time to spoil it. Aston Martin’s official DBS Superleggera configurator is live, and their website’s back online after wilting under the strain of clicks during the car’s official reveal. The visualiser itself is the usual fetish-fest of detail and possibilities, with six choices of alloy wheel alone.
From which palette will you choose your brake caliper hue? Would Sir like his stitching in pink? Will Madam be selecting a carbon roof, or gloss black, perhaps? The possibilities are near-endless and really rather dizzying.
So, there goes your day's productivity. We’ve selected a few flavours of DBS to get your creative juices flowing – don’t forget to report back your optimal Superleggera specification.
