The new Land Rover Defender Works V8 Trophy is a long name for a car that celebrates a long history. It pays respect to the Land Rovers that competed in the gruelling Camel Trophy - the annual competition held for 20 years from 1980 that lionised the 4x4 prowess of Britain's finest.
Land Rover recently released a load of archive pics from the Camel Trophy, and they're too good not to share.
