"Forget F1 race pace - this is low fuel, Q3 qualifying pace," said Top Gear's Jethro Bovingdon when strapped into the wild, 1,200bhp rocketship masquerading as a performance car that is the RB17.

Yes, we've had a go in Adrian Newey's astonishing hypercar... in a very, very fancy simulator, and TG's best lap time of 1m 26.2s would have put us fifth on the grid at last year's British Grand Prix held at Silverstone. Fifth! Watch out, 2024, we're coming for - oh, right.
