Beaulieu Supercar Weekend – UK Prize Draw – (the “Prize Draw”)

Terms and Conditions

 

1.    The BBC Code of Conduct (the “Code”) for prize draws can be found at https://www.bbc.com/editorialguidelines/guidance/code-of-conduct and all BBC Studios Distribution Limited (“BBCSD”) promotions comply with the Code.

2.    The Prize Draw opens on Tuesday 18 June 2024 and closes at 23:59 on Sunday 14 July 2024 (“Closing Date”).

3.    The Prize Draw is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of BBCSD or their subsidiaries, agencies, members of their families and anyone professionally associated with the Prize Draw (“Entrants”).

4.    By entering the Prize Draw, the Entrants agree:

a.    to be bound by these Terms and Conditions;
b.    that their surname and county of residence may be released if they win a prize;
c.    that should they win the Prize Draw, their name and likeness may be used by BBCSD for pre-arranged promotional purposes.

5.    No purchase is necessary to enter.

6.     After the Closing Date, 2 (two) winner(s) will be selected based on the criteria set out in clause 12.

7.    Entrants should enter online by filling in the prize draw form at https://www.topgear.com/top-gear-beaulieu-supercar-weekend-the-stig prior to the Closing Date in order to enter the Prize Draw. Emails or other forms of entry will not be accepted and entries received after the Closing Date, or incomplete entries, will not be eligible. Internet access is required to enter.

8.    Only 1 (one) entry will be permitted per person and bulk entries (meaning the use of any form of technology which allows multiple simultaneous entries) will not be permitted. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical or other reason. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be considered. Entries cannot be returned.

9.    Entrants’ data will be collected and used only for the purposes of administration of this prize draw. For more information on how BBCSD will use Entrants’ data, see the Privacy Notice.  

10.    Entrants must supply to BBCSD their full name, email address and country.

11.    Where Entrants have provided consent, BBCSD may send Entrants marketing messages on a regular basis. Entrants may unsubscribe from these at any time.

12.    The winning entrants will be the first 2 (two) entries drawn at random after the Closing Date.  

13.    The prize will be two tickets for a winner and their guest (“Guest”) to attend the Beaulieu Supercar Weekend 2024 on either 3 or 4 August 2024 (the specific date of which shall be at BBCSD’s election, with winners to be contacted with their designated date) with a chance to ride in the car with The Stig during a demonstration run (“Demonstration Run”)  - the “Prize”. There are 2 (two) Prizes are available. 

14.    The winners will be notified within 3 days of the Closing Date by email. If the winner(s) is/are unable to be contacted within 10 days of the Closing Date, BBCSD reserves the right to offer the Prize(s) to a runner-up, or to re-offer the Prize(s) in any future BBCSD prize draw.

15.    On successful contact and confirmation with the winner(s) BBCSD will send the Prize(s) to the winner(s) and/or runners-up to a designated email address. BBCSD will not be liable for any disruption, delay, strike action or incorrect delivery by any postal or courier service or if incorrect details are provided.

16.    The winner(s) must be present at the time of a Demonstration Run with the vehicle that The Stig is driving in order to take part. Demonstration Runs taking place are dependent on external factors including but not limited to weather conditions, and as such the Demonstration Runs may be postponed, cancelled or the format altered at short notice. Should a winner be unable to participate in the Demonstration Run, their Guest shall be permitted to participate in the Demonstration Run in place of the winner, provided that the Guest is aged 18 years or over.

17.    The name and county of residence of the winner(s) may be obtained by emailing crm@bbc.com within two months of the Closing Date. 

18.    Any promotional activity or press release any winner makes in relation to the Prize Draw must be pre-approved by BBCSD in writing.

19.    BBCSD excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from their entry into the Prize Draw or occurring to the winner(s) arising from their acceptance of a prize. 
    
20.    Entry into the Prize Draw is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

21.    BBCSD reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the Prize Draw or the Prize(s) at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control. 

22.    The Prize Draw is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
